Q.C. the final product of that team, then submit to AT&T for approval. Hire Field Engineers to perform make ready, and field design of Fiber Backbone. Make field visits on crews progress, and troubleshoot any existing problems in the design.  Price OSP Engineer jobs then submit to all interested parties in Black N Veatch and AT&T. Train new engineers on OSP Symbols, and understanding of Construction drawings.

B.                   Project2. Q.C. KIH Kentucky Fiber Project Engineering Drawings. Ensure Engineers are adhering to the Construction and Design Guidelines set forth by the State of Kentucky. Inspect Underground, buried, Aerial prints for strict OSP Engineering standards.

found on the LFACS terminal reports.  Open “MET2” and run program that collects all data on identified serving terminals and cable pair counts, in the distribution area. Locate SOP (ready access) locations on record plats.  Physically locate SOP terminal addresses in the field and trace drops to customer addresses.

Open OPEDS (Micro Station CAD) and begin drawings new and existing facilities and removals, as applicable.  Assign pair counts to terminal addresses,

Locate and remove all bridge taps; show all work steps on drawing, including PLS and DAVAR.

Attach finished METoutput documents to drawing file in OPEDS.  Auto encode project from OPEDS to OSPCM and price job.  Route job to lead engineer for approval. Work with construction on as-builts; design all maintenance requests in opeds for construction, handle Line Conditioning jobs and Red Lines.
